The perfect lawn mowerDecember 16, 2008 Robert McFair I could not be more satisfied with this mower. It will mulch, bag or spread the grass clippings without raising a sweat. I was concerned about the weight but hey, it has wheels, and very good ones at that.
Great mower for the price!December 13, 2008 Lynn R.(Walnut Creek, CA) I decided to go green after the last gas mower died...This is a great mower for the price...I love the instand lever start-up...The gas mower took 20 pulls to start...This one starts up with one grap of the level...That's great!...The height adjustment is fanstastic...With one knob/level (spring loaded so it is easy) you adjust all 4 wheels...This is a great feature too!...All and all, one good mower.
Excellent MowerNovember 27, 2008 Shari Lackey(mn) Bought mower to help mulch leaves from many trees in yard or fall clean up. Could not believe how well it mulched all my leaves, did not even have to bag them. I live in MN. I highly recommend this mower to anyone whom mulches. Have not tried the bag yet. It mulched so well, did not have to!
I love this mowerNovember 13, 2008 Ian Tybolt 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My family and I moved into a new home and I wanted to get away from a gas lawn mower. I did some research and this mower's reviews were all good. So I ordered one. I have not been disappointed at all. I use it to mow about an acre of land (we have a shed with electricity in the middle of of the back). When we first moved in I ignored the already long grass in the front for about 2 weeks and it worked its way up to between 6"-8" inches. I started up the mower and zoomed right over it. The next week I did half of the back yard and discovered that it had a lot of hidden rocks in it. It dinged up the blade some but I hadn't noticed at that point. The following week I went for the last half of the back yard which worked its way up to 8"-10" inches. I ended up with some slowdown but when I moved from mulching to a side discharge that took care of most of the slowdowns. It did end up with grass building up underneath and along the side discharge which I feel was to be expected since the grass was long and full of moisture. That's when I noticed the dinged up blade edge from the rocks. I finished up the back, cleaned up the mower, and sharpened the blade. The next time that I had it out the wife and kids(7 and 3) wanted to try it. I walk along side of the 7 year old who can push it and assisted the 3 year old who can push it short distances. Our yard is slightly sloped front to back but pushing the mower is not tiring.
It is now fall and I use the mower to mulch up the leaves in the yard vs raking and burning them.
I have recommended this mower to family and friends.
Good MowerNovember 2, 2008 M. Grant(San Diego, CA) Seems to be a completely adequate mower. We've used ours only twice in the two months we've had it. We left it outside for the last couple of weeks. Seems to be a good little mower.
Pros: It easy to operate. The little lever that you lift, while feeling flimsy, is light weight and easy to use. This thing is quiet. It is relatively lightweight. Assembly is incredibly easy (just attach the arm). The bag holds a lot of grass. The mower even takes care of sticks and fallen leaves. :)
Cons: The cord dangling off the mower can get annoying.
I don't have enough of a yard to give a worthy review of this product, and the fact that I'm not a mower fanatic.
