poulan pro-17 inch rear tine tiller, satisfy customer December 12, 2008 Jody White (Columbia, Ms) This tiller was bought at a great price, half what other stores wanted for it. It is heaVY DUTY. Works great, cranks on first couple of pulls. Great for any size garden. Very impress with it. I had a craftsman for many years, but this one out does the craftsman. I recommend this tiller to any one. the tires are larger than the craftsman, the poulan pro also has just a walking gear, if you do not want to till, making it easier to loan and unload onto a trailer. Great product, very satisfy. Amazon, com beat everyone else price by hundreds of dollars and the shipping was fast, easy customers service. Amazon gets a a++++++ from me.
Excellent Tiller September 17, 2008 T. M. Breen 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an outstanding machine. After researching several tillers I am very happy with this tiller. The large tires, adequate weight and excellent manuverabilty are all features that make this machine an excellent buy. You get what you pay for and I am very satisfied. The engine is strong at any speed and the results are excellent even when tackling tough clay soils with the occasional rock.
Good, but... June 22, 2008 Cheap Geek (Tennessee) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Pros: Cuts through grass easily. Easily assembled. Leaves soil well tilled. Starts extremely easily. Cons: After ~5 hours of operation, the belt got twisted up and very quickly burned itself into uselessness. Root cause was a loose bolt that aligns the idler pulled under the belt guard.
Overall very happy! June 18, 2008 Ronald F. Perreault (Whitinsville, MA) Arrived quickly with no issues - EASY to assemble. Only issue came after 10 minutes - the belt came off and I found the two screws covering the access panel very tacky and not easy to take off and put back on - panel access design issue - so just a minor preference issue! Love the machine and highly recommended! Good luck
First tiller. Great machine. March 11, 2008 G. Spires 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I received my Poulan Pro rear tine tiller yesterday. It was packaged well, assembled easily and cranked on the first pull. The construction appears to be very good. The tilling was easy and the soil was left in beautiful, even shape. This was an excellent purchase.
